This double weave is part of a series, as shown in Gallery, to explore the influence of colours on each other. The cotton yarns I use are commercially dyed. There are 24 threads both in warp and weft. Because of the limited colour range, all thread colours have to be mixed one-by-one to get the desired gradient. The weaves are almost industrial-looking, but are the result of an artisan processes that is unsuitable for serial production.
